Welcome to London Amateur Basketball League
Founded in 2006, we have now become one of the largest London-based amateur leagues in basketball. From a mere handful of players and referees back in 2006, we now not only run our own basketball league, but also provide a table and officials appointments service to many other London leagues at junior, university and national level.
Working closely with England Basketball, we invest time in the development of new and existing officials through workshops and England Basketball courses. We also have established links with deaf basketball and wheelchair leagues.
We have re-designed our website - which we hope you'll love as well as set up our new online Officials' Appointments system to make it easier than ever to submit non-availability and check appointments.

Men's & Women's Summer League 2013
We will be running a men's summer league for 10 teams at Queen Mary University starting on the 8th June. The men's teams will play in two pools of five each, playing each other once. Then they will play against a team of the other pool, then finals. The fee is £350, the schedule is already done. All games are on Saturdays 10am to 4pm, except the 13th and 14th July when we play both days. Preference given to new teams that would like to get ready for season 2013/14, and play in a formal league format with qualified officials, stop-the clock games, and electronic scoreboard.
'Men's teams registered (6): Siberian Tractors, Red Dragons, London Nightmare, Greenwich Admirals, Vatos Locos and Tower Hamlets Trojans.
The women's summer league will take place in North London. It will follow the same format as the men's league although the fee will be £300 per team.
